I photograph the quiet moments in cities—the spaces between rush and stillness, the way light carves temporary architecture from shadow, the solitude found in crowds.
Street photography, for me, is less about decisive moments and more about sustained observation. I'm drawn to ambiguity, to images that ask questions rather than provide answers. The city is my subject, but mood and atmosphere are what I'm really chasing.
Born in San Francisco, currently based between Tokyo and Berlin. My work has been exhibited at The Photographers' Gallery (London), Foam (Amsterdam), and various independent spaces. I shoot on both film and digital, depending on what the light asks for.
This is not a commercial photography business. I occasionally accept commissions for editorial projects that align with my visual language. Inquiries welcome.
